Criticism is Helpful for Georgia‘s Success
Elene Khoshtaria, a leader of the “Coalition for Change“, wrote on social media that criticism from the opposition is helpful. She believes that Georgia should do well and win because it is not like Russia or Belarus, but rather part of Europe.
Khoshtaria said she personally wants to achieve results and win. She explained what perseverance means in politics: accepting mistakes, correcting them, enduring criticism, and moving forward when something doesn’t work out. This resilience is key in fighting against a regime.
The day the parliament assembly was not easy, but Khoshtaria believes that people should truly believe in their goals. She said no one expected it to be easy, but they didn’t stop trying either.
Khoshtaria also wrote about criticism from society and politicians. She thinks that accepting criticism calmly and reasonably is important for becoming a society and creating a political process. She admitted that there are mistakes, such as communication chaos, but she remains determined to win.
Khoshtaria encouraged people to read Václav Havel’s “Power of the Powerless” for answers to many questions. She concluded by saying that everything will be done to win, and criticism is only helpful.
