**Russian in Crisis After Failed Crossing**

A Ukrainian partisan group called Atesh has reported that Russian soldiers are seeking ways to avoid new attacks after failing to cross the Dnipro River.

The 70th Motor Rifle Division of the Russian military was trying to the right bank of the river but was unsuccessful. Many soldiers did not return, which has made them feel hopeless.

**Russian Soldiers Desperate for Survival**

Atesh claims that many Russian soldiers are now seeking ways to survive and avoid death in battle. They say that commanders are incompetent and there is widespread chaos within the military.

Soldiers are turning to Atesh for help. The group says it’s seen a rise in requests from soldiers who want to disable their own equipment to avoid participating in dangerous river assaults.

**Another Attack Planned**

Atesh reported on December 18th that were told to prepare for another attack on the right bank of Kherson. The group called on Russian soldiers to destroy their own boats and vessels to avoid taking part in this new attack.

However, a recent attempt by to advance towards Kherson failed. They launched at the city and killed two civilians and damaged 30 buildings.
