EU Commissioner Visits Georgia
The European Union’s ambassador to Georgia, Pawel Herczynski, welcomed the visit of EU Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi. This is the first high-level visit since Georgia was granted a European perspective in June.
Varhelyi will meet with Georgian leaders and discuss several important topics. These include 12 recommendations from the European Commission, economic plans, and investment projects. The goal is to strengthen Georgia’s economy with EU support.
The ambassador expressed his excitement about the visit and hopes it will improve relations between the EU and Georgia. Varhelyi will also meet with President and government officials. He will discuss these key issues at a meeting with all political parties in Parliament.
This visit marks an important step forward for Georgia-EU ties, with many projects planned to boost the country‘s economy and resilience. The visit is seen as a positive development, with hopes that it will lead to closer cooperation between the EU and Georgia.
