The Georgian national basketball squad defeated Turkey 88 to 83 in the 41st EuroBasket Championship organized by FIBA Europe on Sunday.
Georgia will co-host the major basketball tournament for the first time with Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic.
Currently, Georgian national team is ranked third, while Turkey is ranked second.
The Georgian National Team will play Bulgaria on Saturday, September 6.
