**New Ukrainian Missile Drone Aims at Russian Targets**
A new missile-drone called “Peklo” (Hell) is being developed in Ukraine. It’s designed to hit ground targets, such as ammunition depots and airfields.
The developers of the drone say it can reach speeds of up to 700 km/h and has a range of over 700 km. However, some experts have doubts about its actual capabilities.
**Ground Targets Main Focus**
The main goal of the “Peklo” drone is to destroy Russian ground targets, not enemy aircraft. This means hitting stockpiles, technical units, or concentrations of aircraft.
“This type of strike system is already in use,” said Anatolii Khrapchynskyi, a developer of Ukrainian defense systems. “Ukraine is producing highly effective systems and weapons, and we’re getting results.”
**Private Companies Involved**
Khrapchynskyi added that private companies are contributing to the development of advanced weaponry. They’re creating systems capable of long-range strikes to disrupt Russia‘s weapon production.
**Russia Counters with Its Own Systems**
However, Russia is also modernizing its counter-weapons to destroy or intercept Ukrainian drones. “Our engineers are developing systems capable of not only creating hell but also covering Russian territory with significant ‘bangs’ and ‘booms,'” Khrapchynskyi said.
**First Batch Delivered**
The first batch of several dozen “Peklo” missile-drones was delivered to Ukraine’s Defense Forces on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in attendance.
