**Serbia‘s IT Industry Grows**
The Serbian government has announced that the country’s IT industry has grown by 20% in 2024. This is according to a statement made by the Information and Telecommunications Ministry.
**Increased Exports**
The ministry reported that the IT industry had exports of goods and services worth 4.13 billion Euro in 2024. This is compared to 3.44 billion Euro in 2023, which shows an increase of nearly a billion Euros. The IT industry’s exports have grown significantly since 2012, with a tenfold increase.
**Economic Growth**
The ministry’s surplus for the IT industry was 3.23 billion Euro in 2024, compared to 2.61 billion Euro in 2023. The government is working to develop the IT industry as a key part of Serbia’s economic growth.
