**Family Pays Tribute to Son Killed in Ukraine**
A family from Cornwall has spoken out about the death of their 22-year-old son, who was killed while fighting with a foreign volunteer platoon in Ukraine.
Callum Tindal-Draper died on November 5th, after being part of the 4th International Legion’s defense of an observation point. His parents, Steven and Caroline Draper, said they had begged him not to go to Ukraine, but he wanted to help.
“We were worried about him going,” said Mr. Draper. “We knew it was a risk, but he felt strongly about it.”
Mrs. Tindal added: “Callum had always been passionate about helping others. When he came out to visit us in September, we could see how much he’d grown as a person. He told me that coming to Ukraine was the best thing that ever happened to him.”
**Foreign Office Offers Support**
The Foreign Office has confirmed that a British national has died in Ukraine and is offering support to Mr. Tindal-Draper’s family.
However, warnings have been issued against traveling to Ukraine due to the ongoing conflict with Russia.
**Family Plans Burial in Ukraine**
Mr. Tindal-Draper’s parents said they plan to bury their son in Ukraine, as he had wanted to stay and live there.
“We’re not sure when we’ll get his body back,” said Mrs. Tindal. “But even if we did, I think we would still want to bury him here.”
Mr. Draper added: “Callum was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. We’re proud of the bravery he showed and the sense of duty that drove him.”
