Finland Supports Ukraine’ Education Reform

Finland’s for and Development, Ville Tavio, announced the funding at a conference in Kyiv. The €20 million will be used from 2025 to 2028. It will focus on improving Ukraine’s educational infrastructure and student welfare .

In addition to this funding, Finland is also giving €500,000 to help provide healthy meals for Ukrainian students. This program was started by Ukraine in early 2021 and aims to promote healthier eating habits among students.

Finland’s support for Ukraine has been growing this year. The government recently gave €8 million to help the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). This is part of Finland’s efforts to support Ukraine during a harsh winter.
