**Fire Breaks Out at Russian Shipyard**
A fire erupted on April 3 at a major shipyard in Russia‘s Petrozavodsk city. The blaze is believed to have started with a gas explosion at the Onega Shipbuilding and Repair Plant’s new workshop.
Three people were injured in the incident, and two of them remain hospitalized. The fire has been extinguished by midday, according to local authorities.
The shipyard specializes in building barges, industrial vessels, tugboats, and passenger ships. It is located near Lake Onega, 300 kilometers northeast of St. Petersburg.
**Investigation Underway**
Circumstances surrounding the fire are currently under investigation. The police have named an explosion of a gas cylinder as the likely cause.
