**No Official Proposals from US and Partners for Ukraine‘s Territorial Concessions**
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has denied receiving any official proposals for territorial concessions as part of potential peace talks with Russia. This comes ahead of a meeting between U.S. and Ukrainian delegations in Saudi Arabia on March 11.
Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi made the statement during a press briefing, saying that “we have not received such proposals.” The comments downplayed reports of potential concessions being discussed in the media.
**Russia Still Occupies 20% of Ukraine’s Territory**
Russian forces continue to occupy about 20% of Ukraine’s territory. The Ukrainian population under Russian occupation has been subjected to systematic repression, torture, and abuse. These conditions have led to a tense relationship between the two countries.
**Meeting Between US and Ukrainian Delegations in Saudi Arabia**
The meeting between U.S. and Ukrainian delegations on March 11 will focus on the framework for a potential peace agreement. This marks the first high-level meeting since a heated exchange between President Volodymyr Zelensky, U.S. President Donald Trump, and U.S. Vice President JD Vance in February.
**Bilateral Ties and Strategic Partnership to be Discussed**
According to Tykhyi, the meeting will cover bilateral ties, strategic partnership, and a path toward peace. He reiterated that Ukraine is ready to sign a natural resources agreement with the U.S., but did not confirm whether the deal will be signed next week.
