**Warning Issued Over Uncompleted Square Construction**
A former speaker of the Belgrade City Assembly has expressed concern about a construction project in the city’s central square. Zoran Alimpic says the incomplete sidewalk reconstruction poses a risk to protesters and citizens.
Alimpic claims that the deadline for completing the work was intentionally moved to March 16, just days before a major protest scheduled for next Saturday. He fears that the unfinished site could be hazardous during the demonstration.
**Safety Risks Unaddressed**
The square is currently incomplete, with numerous stone blocks missing from the sidewalk. Alimpic warns that leaving a construction site open can put people in danger. Some paving stones have even been left unguarded near a tent camp outside the Serbian Presidency building.
