**Taiwan‘s Former President Urges US Support for Ukraine**
Former Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen has called on the United States to prioritize supporting Ukraine with weapons. Despite concerns about a potential Chinese invasion of Taiwan, Tsai believes that helping Ukraine is crucial.
Tsai made her comments at the Halifax International Security Forum in Canada. She emphasized that the US should provide as much support as possible to Ukraine. “They should do whatever they can to help the Ukrainians,” she said.

Tsai believes that Taiwan still has time before a potential Chinese invasion. She suggested that helping Ukraine now would be a good idea, even if it means diverting some resources away from Asia. “A Ukrainian victory will serve as the most effective deterrent to future aggression globally,” she said.
