Russia Attacks Ukraine‘s Railways, Injuring Four Workers
On March 19, Russian forces carried out two attacks on the railway infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The attacks injured four workers.
Two of the injured workers are in serious condition. Preliminary reports suggest that a ballistic missile was used in the attack.
The second strike hit the same area where recovery efforts were underway after the first attack. Some areas suffered power outages, but train services continued as usual.
This is not the first time Russian forces have targeted Ukraine’s critical infrastructure. They have repeatedly attacked various regions of the country, causing damage and disrupting essential services.
