The Tbilisi mayor Kakha Kaladze revealed at the municipal meeting that A-Category Taxis (vehicles not older than 10 years) will be allowed to drive on bus lanes as of June 1.
According to Kaladze A-Category tax was previously only allowed to pick up passengers in the bus lanes and not to rive there.
In May, taxi drivers will be able get stickers that “indicate a taxi has been authorized to drive on a bus lane,” Kaladze stated.
