In a massive assault that ignited Russian military infrastructure over a 1,500 km arc, Ukrainian troops struck strategic targets, from the occupied Crimea all the way to Urals. The attack began with a devastating strike on Feodosia’s port.

Today, there are a lot of stories coming out of the Russian-occupied Crimea as well as Russia. Ukrainian forces have continued their series precision strikes against Russian military infrastructure. They used drones and missiles to hit targets on enemy territory. They targeted key assets, from ammunition depots and command posts to cause a major disruption in Russian military operations.
Strike on Russian-occupied Feodosia and Crimea
First, Ukrainian drones struck Feodosia, a key Russian transshipment center, in Crimea. This port infrastructure can store oil products, receive tankers all year round, and distribute to the Crimean Peninsula. The port infrastructure suffered significant damage in the attack. Video footage shows extensive destruction. This means that oil logistics will be more heavily reliant on roads and railways, complicating transportation in the region and hindering Russian use of mechanized troops in Ukraine.
Strikes on fuel stations in Russia
Just a few days earlier, Ukrainian Special Forces had launched several drone swarms, their first target being an underground fuel storage facility in Voronezh. Russian officials claimed that all drones had been intercepted by electronic war systems. However, footage showed fires raging in the complex after at lease one vertical fuel tank was struck.
The fires also spread to a second fuel depot, this time in the Perm area. A total of 10,000 square meters was affected. Russians shared videos on social media of Ukrainian jet-powered drones flying low and fast. This rendered Russian defenses almost powerless to stop these drones.
Attack on Borisoglebsk Airfield
The next Ukrainian attack targeted the Borisoglebsk Airfield in Voronezh oblast, targeting guided air bomb storages, Su-35 aircraft and their fuel storage. Satellite data showed several fire spots. Locals reported explosions and fires over night. The fire may not directly have affected the planes or the buildings, but it could have spread to nearby containers and boxes near the runway.
Destroy Russian radar systems
The Ukrainians achieved their goal by carefully preparing, targeting and successfully destroying a Russian S-400 air defence system radar 96L6 around 15 km west from Belgorod. This radar can track 100 targets, and classify them as aircraft, helicopters or missiles. The strike was corrected by a Ukrainian reconnaissance drone called Shark.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed the Russian Nebo M radar station using an ATACMS. This attack severely hinders Russia’s capability to detect, track and intercept aerodynamic or ballistic threats within a 600-km radius.
Kotluban military weapons arsenal and command posts are attacked
Ukrainian drone operators have successfully attacked the Kotluban arsenal in Russia’s Volgograd Oblast. The attack was on a facility that was used to store and upgrade rocket artillery. It had recently received a shipment from Iran. Despite the strong defenses of Russian electronic warfare systems and air defense systems. Ukrainian forces completed their missions, causing massive fires and explosions.
Ukrainian forces have also struck a second blow by successfully attacking three key Russian command posts. These included the 35th and the 27th motorized rifle brigades, as well as the command post for the Second Russian Combined Arms Army. These precision attacks, using Storm Shadow missiles or GMLRS rockets, were designed to disrupt Russian command activities and sow confusion in their ranks.

Ukraine has increased its efforts to strike a significant blow to the enemy, not only by targeting ammunition depots, but also other key military infrastructure. While waiting for permission from Western partners to use weaponry deep inside Russia, Ukrainian forces are trying to do as much damage with newly developed cutting edge missile drones before the weather makes mechanized attacks impossible and at a time when Russians are putting everything on the line to win more land.
