**Dream’s Statements Harm Georgia**
The Gakharia For Georgia party has spoken out against the Dream party. They say that blaming Georgia for starting a war with Russia is very bad for the country.
**Why It’s Bad**
According to the Gakharia For Georgia party, blaming Georgia is:
* A way of saying that Russia was right to attack and take land from us
* Hurts our chances of getting back the land that’s been taken
* Makes it harder for people who had to leave their homes to return
* Goes against what international courts have said about the war
* Encourages Russia to keep being aggressive towards us
**More Problems**
The party says that these statements also:
* Disrespect the memory of those who died fighting for Georgia
* Make fun of our military and make our soldiers less motivated
* Help Russia’s foreign ministry to demand punishment from Georgia
**Response from Tskhinvali**
After the Dream party made their statement, the so-called Foreign Ministry of occupied Tskhinvali responded by saying that they want those “guilty” of starting the war to be punished. The Russian Foreign Ministry then welcomed this apology.
