**Georgian Party Calls Government’s Actions “Repressions”**
A Georgian party, “Gakharia for Georgia”, has spoken out against the country‘s government. The party says that police actions in recent days are “ordinary repressions”. They want international partners to take action to protect citizens.
The police have been searching homes and offices of activists and political parties. This includes searches at the offices of three parties: “Unity for the National Movement“, “Coalition for Change”, and “Droa“. The home of one of the founders, Ilia Glonti, was also searched.
**Leaders Arrested**
Two leaders from a third party, “Coalition for Change”, were detained by police. Nika Gvaramia is the leader of this party and Gela Khasaia is a member. Another man, Zviad Tsetskhladze, who is involved with the movement “Dafioni”, has also been arrested.
