Steve Brisley from Bridgend in Wales has been campaigning for his brother-in-law Eli’s release. Eli is still being held by Hamas. Steve told BBC Wales that even though Eli’s name was on the list, it didn’t mean he was alive. The will have to wait until Eli is released before they know if he survived.

**Release of Hostages**

The first three hostages were released on Sunday. A total of 90 Palestinian prisoners were also freed as part of the deal. Steve Brisley said that the next few weeks would be tough, and it was bittersweet for him and his family. His sister Lianne and teenage nieces Noiya & Yahel were killed by Hamas in an attack in last year.

**More Hostages to Be Released**

US President said that four more Israeli hostages should be released this week. Three hostages will then be released every 7 days thereafter, according to the agreement. Hamas claims that for every Israeli prisoner released, 30 Palestinian prisoners would be freed. Egypt said that ,890 Palestinian prisoners would be freed during the first phase.
