**Georgian Foreign Minister in Hungary**
The foreign minister of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, is visiting Hungary. She met with the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó.
**Hungary Supports Georgia**
Hungarian Minister Szijjártó said that Brussels is trying to isolate patriotic governments like Georgia’s. He praised US President Donald Trump for changing this practice in international politics.
Szijjártó condemned the EU’s decision to suspend visa–free travel for Georgian diplomats. Hungary opposes this decision and will continue to support Georgia’s government.
**Georgia Thanks Hungary**
Georgian Foreign Minister Botchorishvili thanked Hungary for its support. She praised bilateral relations between the two countries, focusing on economic ties.
Botchorishvili also spoke about Georgia’s role in the Middle Corridor project. This project is important for both the EU and Georgia. She hoped that Hungary would continue to support Georgia within EU structures.
**Peace in Georgia**
Botchorishvili stressed the importance of peace in the face of continued Russian occupation. She thanked Hungarian experts for promoting Georgia’s interests in the EU integration process.
