Papuashvili met with several high-ranking officials, including:
1. The President of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives: They discussed Georgia-Belgium bilateral relations, regional security, and Belgium’s plans for EU membership.
2. The Speaker of India‘s Lower Chamber of Parliament, Om Birla: They reviewed prospects for strengthening parliamentary connections and fostering sectoral cooperation in trade, tourism, education, and technology.
3. The Chairman of the Assembly of Representatives of Tajikistan, Fayzali Idizoda: They reaffirmed positive ties between Georgia and Tajikistan and emphasized the importance of enhancing parliamentary engagement.
Papuashvili also met with Pia Kauma, the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA), where they discussed topics such as the implementation of OSCE/ODIHR recommendations following last year’s elections in Georgia.
