**Ukrainian Forces Strike Russian Targets**
Last night, Ukrainian forces hit a thermobaric munitions depot in the Donetsk Oblast. The General Staff reported on Telegram that the target was destroyed.
A video of the strike showed an initial explosion followed by larger explosions, possibly from material detonating on the ground. The General Staff called the target a “thermobaric ammunition storage facility of the Russian invaders.”
**Multiple Facilities Hit**
Ukrainian forces also hit three other facilities in Russia. These included the Ilsky oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai. This is not the first time this refinery has been attacked, as Ukraine hit it on February 17.
A fire broke out at the plant after that attack. The refinery has six oil refining units with a total capacity of 6.6 million tons per year. Ukraine considers Russian oil facilities to be valid military targets because they help fund Moscow’s war machine.
**Repeating Attacks**
The Ukrainian military has launched repeated attacks against Russian refineries using long-range drones. These attacks aim to disrupt Russia’s ability to profit from oil sales, which funds the war effort.
