**Russia’s Losses in Ukraine**
Russia has lost a lot of troops and equipment since it invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022. The Ukrainian military reported that Russia has lost over 808,000 soldiers.
In the past day alone, Russia lost around 1,750 more soldiers. This number is based on a report from the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces.
The report also said that Russia has lost many vehicles and machines. These include:
* Over 9,700 tanks
* More than 20,000 armored fighting vehicles
* Around 33,600 other vehicles
* Over 21,800 artillery systems
* Many drones (around 22,000)
* Several ships and boats (28 in total)
These numbers are from the report released by the General Staff of Ukraine‘s Armed Forces on January 12.
