Russia has lost a huge number of troops and equipment since its invasion of Ukraine started on February 24, 2022. According to the General Staff of Ukraine‘s Armed Forces, Russia has lost over 717,000 soldiers.
In just one day, Russian forces suffered 1,520 casualties. In addition to these losses, Russia has also lost a large number of tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery systems. These numbers include:
* 9,330 tanks
* 18,968 armored fighting vehicles
* 29,167 other vehicles and fuel tanks
* 20,492 artillery systems
* 1,252 multiple launch rocket systems
* 999 air defense systems
* 369 airplanes
* 329 helicopters
* 18,886 drones
* 28 ships and boats
* One submarine
These numbers show the extent of Russia’s losses in Ukraine. The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported these numbers on November 15.
