**Russia’s Heavy Losses in Ukraine**
Ukraine’s military has reported that Russia has lost a large number of troops and equipment since its invasion on February 24, 2022. According to the Ukrainian General Staff, Russia has lost over 763,000 soldiers.
This is not all – Russia has also suffered significant losses in equipment. The report states that Russia has lost:
* Over 9,500 tanks
* More than 19,700 armored vehicles
* Around 31,500 trucks and fuel tanks
* Almost 21,200 artillery systems
* About 1,250 rocket launchers
* Over 1,000 air defense systems
* 369 airplanes
* 329 helicopters
* 20,372 drones
* 28 ships and boats
* One submarine
