Russia’s Losses in Ukraine
Russia has lost 779,320 troops since the start of its invasion on February 24, 2022. This number includes 1,600 casualties over just one day.
The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported these losses on December 25. They also mentioned that Russia has lost many vehicles and equipment, including:

* 19,923 armored fighting vehicles
* 32,117 vehicles and fuel tanks
* 21,333 artillery systems
* 1,256 multiple launch rocket systems
* 1,030 air defense systems
* 369 airplanes
* 329 helicopters
* 20,908 drones
* 28 ships and boats
* One submarine
Russia Attacks Ukraine Again
On December 25, Russia launched a mass aerial attack across Ukraine. Explosions were reported in cities like Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Ivano-Frankivsk. At least six people were injured.
New Targets for Russian Forces
Russian forces have added new targets to their list of organizations they want to ban. These include the Clooney Foundation for Justice, founded by George and Amal Clooney, and a Russian media outlet called the Moscow Times.

Ukraine’s Navy spokesperson said that Russia has a “systemic problem” with its fleet, which is reflected in its general condition.
