**Russia Loses Thousands of Troops in Ukraine**
Since February 24, 2022, Russia has lost a large number of troops in Ukraine. The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported that on December 28, they had lost 784,200 soldiers.
This is not the only loss suffered by Russian forces. They have also lost many vehicles and equipment. In just one day, over 1,690 Russian troops were killed or injured.
The losses are extensive. Russia has also lost:

* 19,970 armored fighting vehicles
* 32,328 other vehicles
* 21,408 artillery systems
* 1,256 rocket launchers
* 1,032 air defense systems
* 369 airplanes
* 329 helicopters
* 21,013 drones
* 28 ships and boats
* 1 submarine
