**Russia’s War Losses in Ukraine**
Russia has lost a huge number of troops and equipment since its invasion of Ukraine started on February 24, 2022. According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russia has lost over 863,000 soldiers.
This includes 1,190 Russian casualties just in the past day alone. The report also lists many types of military equipment that have been destroyed or captured by Ukraine’s forces. This includes:
* Tanks: over 10,000
* Armored vehicles: more than 21,000
* Cars and fuel tanks: nearly 38,000
* Artillery systems: over 23,000
* Rocket launchers: over 1,200
* Air defense systems: around 1,100
* Planes: about 370
* Helicopters: almost 330
* Drones: more than 26,000
* Ships and boats: 28, with one submarine
These numbers show the scale of Russia’s losses in Ukraine.
