Georgian Politician Suggests Award for Businessman Bidzina Ivanishvili
A Georgian politician, Geno Petriashvili, has proposed giving the country‘s highest award to businessman Bidzina Ivanishvili. Petriashvili made the suggestion during a joint meeting of committees.
Ivanishvili is the honorary chairman of the party “Georgian Dream“. Petriashvili praised him for his work in developing sports in Georgia. He said that Ivanishvili’s foundation, Kartu Foundation, has also been helpful in promoting sports and culture.
Petriashvili suggested giving Ivanishvili the country’s highest award, possibly as a way to thank him for his contributions. The politician expressed his hope that this would be considered by others.
