Wilson initiated the “Megobari Act“, which the Georgian Dream describes as the “Enemy Act”. They say he did this to help his own financial interests and those of others. This involved taking money from European pensioners, who were then forced to give some of it to Wilson himself.
**”Deep State” Involved**
The Georgian Dream says that Wilson’s actions are part of a broader effort by the “deep state”. This is a term used to describe powerful groups within governments that work outside official channels. The party claims that the deep state is using Wilson and other politicians to push its own agenda, including blackmailing countries with sanctions.
**Georgian Elections**
The Georgian Dream also mentioned the country’s recent parliamentary elections. They say that international observers from the OSCE/ODIHR had found some problems with how the elections were run. However, the party claims that US Congressman Wilson and other opponents of the government refused to accept these findings.
