**New Law in Georgia**
The Georgian government has made a decision to add a new law to the country’s Criminal Code. The law, called “Treason”, was taken out of the code by another political group, National Movement, back in 2007.
The person responsible for this decision is Mamuka Mdinaradze, who works with the ruling party Georgian Dream. He made a statement about this change after a meeting where many members agreed on it.
According to Mdinaradze, the article “Treason” was removed by National Movement before a war in August 2007. Now, Georgia’s government is putting it back into the Criminal Code.
