Georgian PM: We are ready for constructive dialogue

At today’ meeting of the Georgian government, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili discussed his visit scheduled from March 15-17.
He said that high-level meetings would be held in the context of the visit at the Commission, European Council and NATO.
The 6th session of EU-Georgia Association Council is scheduled for March 16. “We will present Georgia’s significant reform implementation progress,” Prime Minister said.
The Head of Government thanked Charles Michel, President of the European Council, once again and said that he appreciated his .
Garibashvili also welcomed the arrival in Georgia of Christian Danielsson as the personal representative of President Michel and his participation in a political supported by the EU.
“I would like once again to thank Charles Michel, the President of the European Council for his support and involvement in our country’s processes.
“I would like to stress that we are prepared to continue the constructive dialog mode. We fully agree with the Council of Europe that the opposition and government should find a language in common and reach an agreement quickly so that our parliament can resume normal work and return to normal political life.
Irakli Garibashvili stated that “most importantly, we all should be guided by the interest of the Georgians and our state.”
Charles Michel, President of the European Council has sent a personal representative to Georgia for dialogue. Michel arrived in Tbilisi, Georgia 1 March and held a dialog between the ruling and opposition. Christian Danielsson is Charles Michel’s representative and will likely relaunch the dialogue between Georgia’s political groups.
