Georgia’s inflation rate has remained low. According to the National Statistics Office, the annual inflation rate was 1.3% in November 2024.
**Monthly Increase**
Consumer prices went up by 0.7% compared to last month. This is mainly because of an increase in food and non-alcoholic beverages (2.2%).
**Food Prices Up**
Prices for some food items have gone up this month:
* Vegetables: 17.9%
* Sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and confectionery: 3.4%
* Oils and fats: 3.3%
* Fish: 2.6%
* Mineral waters, soft drinks, fruit and vegetable juices: 1.9%
**Some Food Prices Down**
On the other hand, prices for some food items have gone down:
* Fruit and grapes: -3.6%
* Coffee, tea and cocoa: -1.2%
* Meat: -0.4%
