The economy of Georgia grew very quickly 2025. The country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) went up by about 11% compared to the same time last year.

This is according to estimates from the National of Georgia, known as Geostat. They released this information on February 28.

Several sectors helped drive the growth in GDP. These include:

* Building construction
* Information and communication
* Manufacturing and trade

However, one sector experienced a decline: mining and quarrying.
