**Inflation Rate in Georgia Remains Low**
According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, the inflation rate in February 2025 was 0.4% compared to the previous month. This is a relatively low inflation rate.
**Annual Inflation Rate Also Remains Low**
The annual inflation rate stood at 2.4%. Core inflation, which excludes tobacco and other items, was 2.1%.
**Price Changes in Key Groups**
Prices increased in several groups, including food and non-alcoholic beverages (0.7%), healthcare (2.3%), and alcoholic beverages and tobacco (4.7%). However, prices decreased in clothing and footwear (-2.8%).
**Food Prices Rise by 3.7%**
In the past year, prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 3.7%. This had a significant impact on the annual inflation rate.
**Healthcare Prices Increase by 5.4%**
Prices of healthcare services also rose significantly, increasing by 5.4% in the past year.
