Peter Fischer, the German Ambassador in Georgia, writes on Platform X’s personal page that Georgia must decide if it wants to be a member of the EU.
The ambassador also discusses the risks of current situations.
“At [the meeting] of the German Economic Union, I said that EU Membership would be best for Georgia’s Economy, but Georgia should choose whether it wants to or not. I also mentioned that the current economic situation in Georgia poses risks to the economy: foreign exchange, credit rating and preferential financing, direct foreign investment, trade, tourism, and emigration.
