Bruno Kahl, the German intelligence chief, told a hearing of the German parliament on October 14 that Russia will have military capabilities by 2030 to be able attack NATO.

Separately Thomas Haldewang said that Russian espionage in Europe and sabotage activities have increased dramatically.
