The package, which is supported by Belgium, Denmark and Norway, includes armored vehicles and ammunition.
Liga reports that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, on 11 October, announced that Germany, together with Belgium, Denmark and Norway, would provide Ukraine with a military aid package valued at EUR1.4 billion before the end of 2024.
Germany is Ukraine’s second largest military supporter, after the United States. Scholz, during a press conference held with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, detailed the contents of this package, which included IRIS-T air defense systems and Skynex, Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, guided howitzers and armored vehicles.
