**Germany Delivers Military Aid to Ukraine**
The German government has sent a new batch of military equipment to Ukraine. This includes four self-propelled howitzers, three anti-aircraft guns, and other supplies.
Ukraine received many types of aid from Germany. These include ammunition for infantry fighting vehicles, drones, medical equipment, and mine-resistant vehicles. They also got seven howitzer tubes, three tanks to clear mines, two bridge-laying tanks, and eight air assault vehicles.
Germany’s military aid to Ukraine will be cut in half next year compared to this year. The country allocated 8 billion euros ($8.7 billion) for Ukraine this year, but only 4 billion euros ($4.35 billion) is planned for next year.
**US and Germany Have Different Plans**
The US has allowed Ukraine to use long-range missiles to strike targets on Russian soil. However, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz does not plan to give Ukraine similar missiles despite the US change in policy.
Germany’s stance might change soon because of upcoming elections in February 2025. The center-right opposition alliance is currently leading polls and could take over as government.
