**Opposition in Georgia Expected to Lose Local Elections**
The opposition in Georgia is likely to lose the upcoming local elections, said First Vice-Speaker of Parliament Gia Volski. This is not surprising, as they have not won any elections since 2012.
Volski stated that the opposition has been in a “regime of sabotage” for several years. Despite the changing world situation, which does not favor them, they continue to cause problems. Their goal is to damage Georgia and destabilize the country.
**Opposition’s True Intentions**
According to Volski, the opposition’s plan is to force early elections by suspending the election commission, administration, and court. They also want a foreign power to be involved in the process, with support from groups like the European Parliament.
Volski emphasized that this is not a viable solution for Georgia. If the opposition gets their way, it will lead to destruction and economic decline, which would be irreversible. He urged against following this alternative, saying it would be “betraying the country.”
