**Violence in Georgia: A Deep Governmental Crisis**
The recent violence against journalists and politicians by masked persons has sparked a deep crisis within the government, according to Gigi Tsereteli, leader of “Unity – National Movement”.
**Full Responsibility on Management Team**
Tsereteli said that these violent actions are entirely the responsibility of the management team. He emphasized that no one can be blamed for this situation.
**Consequences of Violence**
The violence is exacerbating civil conflict and putting lives at risk. Journalists, politicians, and protesters have been attacked by violent groups with real threats of death. This has led to intimidation of the public and a complete breakdown in trust between citizens and authorities.
**International Condemnation Imminent**
Tsereteli warned that if this situation continues, it will lead to international isolation for Georgia. He said that only the appointment of new elections can normalize the situation and address the demands of the people.
**Demand for Elections and Release of Protesters**
Until then, Tsereteli called for the release of all protest participants arrested on political grounds and an end to repression.
**Citizens in Danger**
Several prominent citizens, including Maka Chikhladze, Giorgi Shesiiruli, Koba Khabazi, Guram Rogava, Zviad Maisashvili, Mariam Gafridashvili, and others have escaped harm so far. However, Tsereteli said that the current environment of aggression and violence poses a great danger to each citizen.
**No Autocracy in Georgia**
Tsereteli concluded by saying that autocracy cannot win in Georgia and that this country must be managed differently.
