Gakharia also criticized the public defender, Levan Ioseliani, saying that he should be protecting citizens arrested during a rally, not engaging in disputes with politicians. He questioned why some arrested people had not been brought before a court, and called on Ioseliani to focus on his duties rather than answering him.
