**Former Prime Minister Speaks Out About Attack**
Giorgi Gakharia, a leader of the opposition in Georgia, spoke out about an attack that happened at a hotel in Batumi. He said it was a pre-planned attack on him and his team.
Gakharia said that he and his team were attacked by a group of people at the Sheraton Hotel in Batumi on January 15th. The group had been waiting for them, and they started cursing and swearing before attacking Gakharia.
**A Violent Attack**
Gakharia said that after he reacted to the attack, one of the attackers pulled out his phone and recorded everything. He also claimed that it was obvious that some of the attackers were armed.
Despite being attacked, Gakharia still treated some of the attackers with a paper cup and leftover coffee. However, they continued to attack him, and Gakharia lost consciousness. It wasn’t until hotel staff intervened that he regained his senses.
