**Public Defender Criticized for Inaction**

**Illegal Arrests and Police Violence**
Giorgi Gakharia said that many members of his team were illegally detained after being attacked by police officers. He also accused the Prime Minister of telling lies about what happened during the protest. The public defender has given the Prime Minister space to make these false claims, he added.
