According to Giorgi Kadelaki, project manager at the “Soviet Past Research Laboratory”, Badri Okujava was assaulted by the researcher of this organization.
Kandelaki told PressNews that the attack occurred in Vake at the intersection between Machavariani Street and Barnovi Street.
According to him the incident had already been reported to the law enforcement officers.
Kandelaki relates the incident to a political motive.
“Unknown persons attacked. About 7-10 people. They painted, beat, and left. Kandelaki said that Badri was also an activist and there’s no doubt he’s motivated by politics.
