**Opposition Leader Wants to Expose Election System**
A leader of the opposition party “Strong Georgia”, Giorgi Sioridze, was nominated again as a member of the Central Election Commission (CEC). He says being in the CEC is necessary for them to expose and dismantle the election system.
Sioridze believes that the current chairman of the CEC is illegitimately elected. He thinks they need to be part of the commission to show people the truth about the election process. “Nobody wants to be there and nobody enjoys it,” he said.
**Talking About Election Violations**
The opposition will talk about election violations during a meeting at the EU Embassy on Wednesday. Sioridze says they have evidence of schemes related to voting on behalf of persons abroad and issuing ballots for people who did not vote. They plan to show this evidence to European partners.
“We were more insightful in this matter because we are members of the CEC,” Sioridze said. He believes that by sharing their findings, they can help fix the election system.
