**International Body Demands New Elections in Georgia**
For the first time, a global document has officially asked for new elections. This is an important step that can be used by other international organizations and countries as a guide.
Giorgi Vashadze, leader of Strategy Agmashenebeli, commented on this development. He said it shows that the current government, Georgian Dream, is not legitimate.
The resolution passed by PACE (Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe) in Georgia emphasizes the need for new elections. This means that the country’s governing party has isolated itself from international cooperation.
**A New Path Ahead**
Vashadze believes this change will lead to a completely new process in the country. He thinks it is essential for the opposition forces and civil society to work together to achieve their goals.
He also pointed out that Georgian Dream’s amendments were not supported by anyone during the vote. As a result, they did not get approved.
**The Way Forward**
Vashadze said that new elections should be called before April. He believes this is necessary for Georgia to have a worthy representation in international organizations like the Council of Europe.
He concluded his statement by saying that Georgian Dream’s participation will be limited until new elections are held. If they don’t comply, their mandate may be terminated.
