**Public Demands New Elections**
The transfer of officials is not enough to satisfy public demand, according to Giorgi Vashadze. He spoke as a leader of the “Unity – National Movement“.
Vashadze said that people should stand together and demand new elections. This would include releasing all detainees who were severely beaten.
**Solution Needed**
According to Vashadze, the solution is simple: hold new elections with international supervision and a completely new administration. The law enforcement agencies should also be neutral in conducting these elections.
He reminded everyone that proxy transfers of officials are not enough. “We remember how you removed Kobakhidze from parliament, then returned him as Prime Minister,” he said.
**Demand for Change**
Vashadze called on society to stand together and demand new elections to dismantle the system that connects Georgia to Russia. He also demanded the release of all detainees who were severely beaten.
