**Leader Speaks Out Against Regime Violence**
Giorgi Vashadze, a leader of the “Unity – National Movement”, has spoken out against what he calls the regime’s violent steps. He says that no one is afraid of summons or threats from those in power.
According to Vashadze, police came to his house and told him they were calling him as a witness for interrogation. However, when asked if anyone had been questioned about recent acts of violence, such as physical beatings of young people and journalists, the police had no answer.
**Opposing Regime Violence**
Vashadze is urging those in power to leave their jobs and stop using violence against citizens. He says that Bidzina Ivanishvili, a key figure in the regime, is bringing chaos to Georgia. Vashadze believes that if Ivanishvili were removed from his position, calm would return to the country.
**Not Afraid of Threats**
Vashadze has issued a direct appeal to Ivanishvili: “No one is afraid of you, no one is afraid of your summons.” He says that even if people are arrested or cases are filed against them, more and more will continue to fight for their rights.
