**Protest Rally Set for Tonight**
A protest rally will take place on Rustaveli Avenue tonight at 19:00. Giorgi Vashadze, a leader of the “Unity – National Movement”, announced this on social media.
**Reminder of Previous Protests**
Last month, protests began in Tbilisi after Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said that Georgia would not discuss opening EU talks until 2028. People gathered at two locations: near the office of “Georgian Dream” and near the parliament building on Rustaveli Avenue.
**Previous Confrontations**
On previous nights, the situation between police and protesters became tense multiple times. The police used water cannons against the protesters several times before breaking up the rally. This happened around 2:00 am.
