Georgia’s President Salome Zurabishvili recently visited the Baltic States. This visit is seen as a message from Georgia that it does not belong to Bidzina Ivanishvili‘s regime.
The Baltic countries are friends of Georgia and know what it means to fight for independence, said Giorgi Vashadze, leader of the “Strategy Builder” party. He added that Georgia is at a crossroads. The country can either stay isolated with Ivanishvili’s regime or fight for freedom.
Zurabishvili’s visit to the Baltic States shows that Georgia wants to be free from Ivanishvili’s rule. Vashadze said, “We need unity! Political prisoners must be freed! The country must regain democracy!”
Vashadze wants people in Georgia to know that they have a choice. They can either stay with Ivanishvili’s regime or fight for freedom and a European future.
